Check valves in order to prevent energy dispersions
The function of a check valve, often combined with the safety valve for the sake of a space-saving solution
The function of the check valve is to prevent hot fluid from reversing towards the supply pipe; in hot water heaters it is important, inasmuch as its absence would allow taps closed to heated water to flow towards the water main.
In these applications, the check valve is combined with a safety valve in order to minimize the space, but there is also a simple version. The non-reversal function is obtained by a pole with plate that, by virtue of a spring, closes the reversal of hot fluid with the unit off.
Realized from the starting premise of a CW617N stamping brass, the check valve is processed on modern machine tools and later chromed in order for it to resist the corrosive action of hot water. The control springs are then realized in stainless steel, whereas, for the grips, use is made of anti-sticking materials.
The check valve produced by GNALI BOCIA, moreover, has a peculiarity which might tilt the installer’s choice towards it. Its design and building has been done with a view to attaining a high silence level, so as to let people sleep soundly.
