Safety valves for the thermocouples in our catalogue.

Safety valves made to satisfy the UNI EN 125 standard, a European harmonised standard that makes it possible to receive CE marking.

In the GNALI BOCIA production catalogue that presents products for gas, there is a section completely dedicated to safety valves that should be applied to gas devices to prevent leaks if the pilot flame or the user’s main flame blows out.
These safety valves should be combined with a thermocouple that verifies the presence of the flame and keeps the fuel flow open. These types of device are extremely useful for preventing uncontrolled gas leaks.
The valve is reset manually. This is necessary for safety, because once the flame has blown out, it is advisable to have specialist technicians carry out checks to evaluate the cause of this occurrence before resetting the safety valve.
Just like the majority of safety devices, these safety valves also must have a CE marking before being placed on the market accompanied by a declaration of conformity. This is possible because the design complies with the UNI EN 125 standard, which regulates the type tests to be carried out on these devices.
